These storm grate are designed as completing units for Ecoteck drainage channels of 100 series. Stormwater drainage, or storm sewer system, which you can buy from us, has the following installation purposes:
- form pathways, which does not hamper street water collection;
- prevent coarse particles entering, which are able to clog the system;
- shielding of other construction thereunder.

Storm grate and its alloys

Plastic storm grates
What is the reason to install stormwater drainage made of plastic? It has higher service life, plastic is less exposed to climatic changes and it is unresponsive to chemical elements. Due to plastic weight it is possible to cut the costs of installation process, the work can be performed by one worker. Water does not meet resistance on its way, it can be explained by smooth plastic surface, which is hard to say about other materials. Let’s resume: what concerns the price – plastic costs little. Stormwater drainage of low push pressure speaks for itself – it is not meant for traces with high cluster of motor vehicles, it is not used in the industry either. Possibly, the only drawback of plastic is its low strength.
Cast iron storm grares
These grids are intended for most severe loads. They are used in the airports, industrial areas, traces and etc. The main advantage is its strength. Other advantages include anticorrosion resistance and long service life. Cost always conforms to the quality.
Steel storm grates
Sufficient density level is achieved with the preservation of the weight. Service life is defined depending upon type of metal. Steel grate has always an attractive appearance, what means it can be installed in public places. What can scare away buyers – it is the cost of the steel grid. But it is far below than its analogues.
Selection and purchase of storm grates
It is not difficult to buy stormwater drainage, it much more difficult to decide upon its construction and quality. Let’s us mention a number of indicators which will be helpful for you during the selection:
